Vaughan

Biography

“The developing of the iconic Admiralty Arch into a landmark hotel is set to be one of the most exciting forthcoming projects in London. We are proud and delighted to be working with the investors and designers to supply our Kenwood Globe Lanterns and Brissac Table Lamps to this prestigious project.”

Lucy Vaughan, Founder

Michael and Lucy Vaughan founded Vaughan in 1983 to meet the demand in the interior design world for stylish and classical lighting made to the highest standards. Having previously been dealers in decorative antiques, they fully appreciated the sort of lighting that was needed.

The business has grown considerably in the last 31 years, enabling Vaughan to expand from lighting into other decorative areas such as furniture and fabric, which are now integral parts of the business. The overall aim has always been to manufacture the very best in terms of craftsmanship, ‘good taste’ and authenticity which combined with excellent customer service has maintained Vaughan’s stronghold within a competitive market.

Vaughan’s London showroom at G1 Chelsea Harbour Design Centre displays the entire range in a realistic decorative setting. The experienced Hotels & Contracts sales team, led by Lucy Haslam, has worked on prestigious projects around the world including many of London’s 5-star hotels such as The Savoy, The Lanesborough, Firmdale Hotels, The Berkeley and Sheraton Park Lane.
