Chesney’s

Biography

“The location and history of Admiralty Arch rank it alongside the most important projects in London that have used our products or services over the past thirty years. During this time we have worked on royal palaces, leading hotels and landmark residential projects but none surpass the unique properties of the Admiralty Arch project.”

Paul Chesney, Founder

The company is unique in the collaborations it has forged with historical bodies such as The Soane Museum and The Lutyens Foundation who have produced collections with leading designers such as Jasper Conran, Jane Churchill and Barbara Hulanicki. Chesney’s was able to work alongside MHZ and Professor Robinson to reproduce an historically correct version of a Sir Aston Webb fire surround especially for the project.

The company has diversified into architectural stonework and projects have been secured worldwide for specialist items such as cantilevered staircases and classical stone facades.

In addition to its own showrooms in London and New York, Chesney’s has a rapidly expanding trade sales arm and its products are now sold through over 200 authorised dealerships in the UK, Europe, Middle and Far East and North and South America.
