On this day 120 years ago, Queen Victoria passed away marking the end of the Victorian era. Her son, King Edward VII commissioned Admiralty Arch in memory of his late mother. The latin inscription reads ‘In the tenth year of King Edward VII, to Queen Victoria, from most grateful citizens’. #admiraltyarch #queenvictoria #royallondon
